There has been a lot of questions concerning exactly how much mail is 20 MB of email?

According to the IBM Dictionary of Computing, when used to describe disk storage capacity and transmission rates, a megabyte is 1,000,000 bytes in decimal notation. The basic plain text email that consists of 2-3 sentences is roughly 3K in size – 3,000 bytes. Just a tiny portion of the 20 MB quota.
